MDF / IDF buildouts.

Your customer’s network lives or dies in the telecom room. If the MDF or IDF is a mess, everything you sell on top of it inherits the problem.

MDF / IDF buildouts FAQ

Questions, answered.

Racks anchored and level, ladder tray for clean routing, grounding and bonding to a proper busbar, fire-rated backboard, organized patching and labels everywhere. It should be easy for someone who’s never seen it to trace any connection.

It protects equipment and people from electrical faults and reduces interference. It’s also commonly checked at inspection. Skipping it is cheap on day one and expensive when something fails.

Yes. We can re-dress cabling, add cable management, relabel and document the room. Cleanups are often done in phases or after hours so the network stays up.

Leave rack space, extra ladder tray capacity and spare power. A room built to exactly today’s needs usually becomes a problem within a couple of years.
