Retail environments.

Store openings run on hard dates. We’ve worked inside active retail buildouts across the Pacific Northwest, and we know how to get the technology in without slowing down the other trades.

What we know about retail

We’ve worked here. We know the rules.

01

Opening day doesn’t move

Fixtures, flooring and inspections all compete for the same final weeks. Low voltage work has to fit around them, not the other way around.

02

Every store should look the same

Brands expect identical racks, labels and device placement across locations. Consistency is what keeps support costs down.

03

The site is never empty

Electricians, millwork crews and general contractors are all onsite at once. Coordination matters as much as workmanship.

The challenge

A national retail technology provider partnered with Cavonet on the infrastructure buildout of a new store. The site was still active with electricians, millwork installers, flooring crews and general contractors, all working to an aggressive construction schedule.

Our approach

Cavonet worked as an extension of the client’s operations team, quietly in the background and representing them professionally onsite. We kept daily communication with the client’s dispatch and project management teams, with updates, photos and installation progress.

The result

The store infrastructure was completed on schedule and ready for final technology turn-up before opening day.
